20. The truth about working with kids at home (and we all know it isn’t pretty)

One of the questions I get most often is this: how do I integrate my child into my work?

If you’re a parent you know that kids have this way of keeping you on your toes. At any given moment somebody needs a snack, or a diaper change, or they’ve hurt themselves for the 100th time.

Being a parent is a BIG job. And there’s a reason that they say it takes a village to raise a child.

Unfortunately with COVID-19 most of us can no longer depend on daycare, or grandparents, or even a neighbour to help us out. Most of us have lost our village and are juggling everything alone.

That’s why in today’s bonus episode I’m breaking down EXACTLY how to work from home with kids and giving my best tips and hacks for how I integrate my own kiddo into my work and business.

I’ll be giving you three questions to answer with your partner so you can set yourselves up for success, productivity tips that will make working from home just that much easier, and the unexpected perk of this experience (yes, that’s right, there are perks!)

By the end of this episode you’ll be ready to take control and write the story of your work from home experience instead of drowning in it.

It’s not easy, but you know what? You can do hard things. You can navigate changes and you can figure out the mess. You can rise up to the challenge and create the life that YOU want.
